Man’s covering at best will only bring us into more confusion as clearing stated  by the prophet Isaiah.

He says;“woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD that take counsel, but not me, and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: therefore shall the strength of pharaoh (man) be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt (man) your confusion” (Isaiah 30:1,3).

Isaiah was a great prophet of God, raised by God he was living and growing under the shadow of a man called king Uzziah. He was busy distributing woes to the people of his generation meanwhile a veil was upon him, He was a great prophet with a veil upon him, perhaps he thought he had arrived at the zenith realm in God base on many prophesies he was been used to prophesied to the people of his generation  as a result of this he could not see properly to appreciate the vision of God for his life. Uzziah became like a veil covering the eyes of Isaiah.

“In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple” (Isaiah 6:1).

Isaiah could not have a correct appreciation of the fullness of God’s glory; he could not see the Lord until man’s covering represented by king Uzziah was taken away from before his eyes. A man can never rise above the man or the system that he or she submits to. Whosoever you submit yourself to; you became a servant of that thing. There is a veil in the eyes of many Christians today. The veil in your eyes could be another man, it could be your denomination, or some particular doctrine that you hold dearly to your heart and all you see is your denomination, your pastor or your doctrine. Wittingly or unwittingly these things have come to blind your eyes and you cannot see the LORD clearly. The king Uzziah in our lives must go. King Uzziah today represents a system, a spirit that has blinded God’s people. “As Moses put a veil over his face; that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished, but their minds were blinded. In the same way there is a fading away to give room for a David order. The cutting edge of Pentecost also has lifted, the glory has left the court of Pentecost, and the Lord God Almighty is moving his people beyond Pentecost into the feast of tabernacle yet; the people know it not. Nevertheless when men shall turn to the Lord the veil shall be taken way. Now the Lord is that spirit: and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (I Cor. 3, 16-17). As we turn away from man’s system, man’s kingdom and man’s rule and turn to the Lord who is the owner of the church then the veil shall be done away with. Before the church or individuals can ever step into fullness or perfection, Christ must be given his rightful place in the church and in our lives. The Message to the Laodecian church is just as true for the church in Nigeria and other countries today.

We are presently at the Laodecian church age where Christ the owner of the church has been locked out of the church. He is standing at the door of the church  knocking, wanting to come in, that he might rule in His church (Revelation 3:20). The church is carrying on with its programs and activities without recourse to Christ who owns the church. There is abomination right in the holy place; an anti-Christ spirit has invaded the church where men are becoming more important than Christ. We sing the praise of men more in the church today than we sing the praise of God. Doctrines of men have come to replace the efficacy of the blood of Christ in the church. God is certainly going to bring down these ‘king Uzziah so that the ‘Isaiah’s of God can see clearly.

The church must come under the covering of Christ. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty “(Psalm 91:1). For there to be the manifestations of the sons of God which to bring forth the man child company as described in Revelation chapter 12, the church must be covered by Christ, the church must be over shadowed by Christ. It is then only shall we be able to bring forth the Christ life.

May the Lord deliver us from all that typify man’s covering at this end of age. Amen.
