The Blessing Of Asher Part 2

Praise God my beloved friends today we are continuing on the BLESSING OF ASHER and as it relates to us.

Gen 49: 20“Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties”.

Deut33:24-25.“And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil. Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be”

Before we continue our thoughts on Asher I want us to have the knowledge of what the name ASHER really mean in the biblical context.  The name is pronounced {aw-share‘}; it primarily it means Happy, to be straight (used in the widest sense, especially to be level, right); figuratively, to go forward, be honest, proper:–(call, be) bless(-ed, happy), go, guide, lead, relieve. Have you seen what it means and the realm God is calling you and I to occupy? You are called to be blessed even beyond your progenitors. This is the mind of God for you and I, that means I need to walk straight, right and been honest in all my dealings so as to actualize the blessings. May the Lord grant us great grace. Amen.

Friends Asher is a realm of definite achievements in our walk with Christ which gives us much happiness and delight.  Every step of advancement brings great sense of happiness to the conscious believer.

To many the Christians walk has become a drab. There is no more excitement, no anticipation or expectations just a routine religious activities that merely comes to fill in emptiness and idleness. To fill in this emptiness, churches around buys drums and musical instruments to get them sing and dance continuously while their soul pines away.

The Psalmist says in Psalms 106:15:

“And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul”.

Friends Asher is a realm of definite achievement.  Paul understood this and received much happiness in knowing he had finished his race after running his course. May the Lord brings you and I to this realm of Asher in Jesus Mighty name Amen.
