Prediction Of Things That Will Be Shortly Hereafter

The word “testimony” is used in few different ways. One common usage is when a person is brought into a courtroom and placed under oath to tell, attest to, or give witness to his or her personal knowledge or experience with reference to the case that is being heard. To link the word “Christian” to the word “testimony” is to narrow the focus of the testimony and who can give it. Only a Christian can give a Christian testimony, and a Christian is one who has received forgiveness for sin by trusting alone in the person and work of Jesus Christ for that forgiveness.

A Christian testimony is given when such a Christian relate how we came to know the God of the Bible through the moving of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. Most commonly, we are sharing how we became Christians by God’s miraculous intervention and work in our lives through specific events. Often we can only see that in hindsight, but sharing that experience is vital. Also, when giving this testimony, a sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is always a necessity. Though we can include specific information about how we came to accept Christ as Savior, those details should not be the focus of the testimony. The focus should be about the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.

Brethren, we have a testimony. It is a testimony of life, a testimony of victory of sin and Satan, a testimony of deliverance and healing, of restoration and full redemption, a testimony of adoption unto the father. The list goes on and on. Brethren, we have got a testimony. It is the testimony of Jesus Christ. This testimony is prophecy. Prophecy is words spoken under the influence and power of the Spirit of God. If so, we have a more sure word of prophecy which is the words of God as contained in the Holy Scriptures. Every scripture was given by THE INSPIRATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Holy men wrote because the Divine Spirit INSPIRED them to write.

Don’t forget that the testimony of Jesus Christ is the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY (Rev 19:10).  When we testify about Jesus, we testify for Him, not against Him, it simply means that we are prophesying. If there is no WORD, then it is not prophecy. Prophecy is to declare, forth-tell and foretell or predict by words. Our interest is about DECLARING. To declare, to speak forth for Jesus, about it. To bear witness for Him and about Him. That’s the Testimony of Jesus Christ. The have a testimony even the testimony of Jesus Christ. To declare all that the Spirit says of Christ and all that HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED FOR US. Everything in the world is moving against this TESTIMONY OF JESUS. The world testifies AGAINST Jesus. Sickness, death, poverty,  sin, guilt, Satan, bondage, war, and the like, all testify AGAINST Jesus Christ but brethren,  we have the TESTIMONY, the true testimony of Jesus Christ by the which we oppose every contrary testimony, that which is against Christ. We cannot do anything against the Truth. Our testimony is true. We are not false witnesses. We have been empowered by the Divine Spirit to give witness with boldness, to testify about Jesus Christ and what He has done for us. Did Jesus not say that, “ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon us?” and that we shall be His WITNESSES unto the ends of the world?

Now, we are witnesses not rumour mongers, alright! We have firsthand evidences of things we have seen, heard, tasted and handled, even the WORD OF LIFE. It’s no story to me that Jesus heals. I am a witness. Hallelujah! He saves, He provides, He forgives sins and hold not iniquity against me. He justifies, He protects. I AM A WITNESS! This is no lie. Everything in this world tries to prove me wrong but NO! I will bear witness for Jesus Christ and all He has done for me. I will declare it. “Go tell it on the mountain, over the hills and everywhere that Jesus Christ is Lord. He died and rose and gave us victory. We have victory.

“they overcame by THE WORDS OF THEIR TESTIMONY”.  Brethren and friends, what is your testimony about Jesus? What are you declaring? What are you confessing? Is it against Christ and what He has done or upholding Christ.

When sicknesses show up, discouragement sets in, frustration, accusations, lack, just name it; WHAT IS YOUR TESTIMONY?

You can only overcome by the WORDS OF YOUR TESTIMONY. So now I declare that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, I am what God says I am, my sins are forgiven,  my transgressions are blotted out, my iniquities are purged. I am a new creature, old things are passed away, all things are become new. I am a son of God, I am healed, restored, forgiven, I am blessed, I am justified by grace through faith. I am the head and not the tail. I am above only and not below. I am the salt of the earth and the light of the world. I am a city set on the hill, I shall no longer be hidden. The nations will come to the brightness of my shining. I am who and what God says I am. Devil is a liar. I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the words of my testimony. I won’t change my testimony,  I won’t change my confession even at the point of death by God’s grace.  Amen!
